Father God speaks to my Soul and heals my body May I suggest you read the preceding chapter in my book... to see my witness to the truth of the fulfillment of the following scriptures for today.

 Matthew 9:1-8; Matthew 28:18-20; Luke 5:17-26.

These scriptures speak of the power of God's nature which was manifested through love and forgiveness which was consistently confirmed through the life and teachings of Jesus as He healed bodies and delivered of souls ... to the amazement of all standing by. According to the Bible... no one else had ever had the power or God's authority to do so before this...  and no one had God's authority or power to authorize another to do so... lest they be called of God.. and sent as an representative of Him... and His power. [~] A confirmation that the disciples of Jesus were being sent in His name... which represents His will and loving nature... would be the signs and wonders which would follow their words.

Matthew 9:1-8 Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralytic
Jesus' Ministry at Nazareth
1 So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own city. 2Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, be of good cheer;* your sins are forgiven you."
3And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, "This Man blasphemes!"
4But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5For which is easier, to say, "Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, "Arise and walk'? 6But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"**--then He said to the paralytic, "Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house." 7And he arose and departed to his house.
8Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.***
My commentary: * be of good cheer... God loves you! **Know...both powers come from God through Me, one confirms the other.  ***These signs and wonders revealed the truth that God forgives sin because He loves us and Jesus was sent to us to reveal the nature and will of God to us.

Luke 5: 17-26 Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralytic
17 Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.18Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him. 19And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus.
20When He saw their faith, He said to him, "Man, your sins are forgiven you."*
21And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?"
22But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, "Why are you reasoning in your hearts? 23Which is easier, to say, "Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, "Rise up and walk'? 24But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"--He said to the man who was paralyzed, "I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."**
25Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. 26And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen strange things today!"
My Commentary: *When He saw their faith.... faith responds to faith.  **Which is easier to say?  The healing which came into being here... was the evidence which proved that Jesus has the power ... authority to forgive in God's behalf... and that God forgives revealing the truth and  power of His words.

Matthew 28:16-20 The Great Commission [~]
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. 17When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.*
18And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.* 19Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

My Commentary: *Some doubted... so in response He said:
All power is given to me in heaven and on earth.  Not some... but all... both in heaven as well as on the earth.... and those who are called and sent  walk in this power... as witnesses to the truth of His words. even today.
